Our French home is situated in the south west of france in an idyllic rural situation, famed as one of the sunniest corners of the country and is an easy day's drive from the channel ports or tunnel.

Chez Briant has been sympathetically renovated over the last few years and provides comfortable well—equipped accommodation with the benefit of a private lOm x 5m swimming pool. Chez Briant is part of a busy little hamlet of some seven houses, populated by very friendly French neighbours, and has the benefit of about two acres of land. It is a wonderfully quiet rural spot although quintessentially French and unspoilt, where you can still hear the nightingales sing.

Romagne and Sommieres du Clam provide local shops, bars and restaurants at approximately 1km away. Chez Briant is located about fifteen minutes’ drive from the pretty market towns of Civray and Gencay, which offer excellent French markets, as well as all general shopping and supermarket facilities, restaurants and cafes.
